Tak & Lug have a unique heavy attack where we throw the shield, which forces blast procs.

• Melee Range increased distance of shield thrown on heavies
• Unique attack doesn't apply forced knock down, so Melee Afflictions is a no-go
• [Primed Fever Strike] is an okay alternative to bane mods

[Mirage] is one of the better platformers to run due to her clones creating extra instances that cause the Tak & Lug to apply 9 blast stacks per heavy, but she cannot run Xata's Whispers, so we need an Operator and/or [Astral Bond]. Other top platformers are [Banshee] & [Jade] because of their impressive buffs and ability to run [Xata]'s Whispers

When running Melee Duplicates, aim around 130% final cc. All yellow crits, with a decent chance at rerolling into orange crits.
As mentioned in the title, [Xata]'s Whispers is the best subsume to use with this build. That's because of using Xata's Whispers, we get this chain interaction:
