Alt fire has a base SC of 33%, which makes it far more ideal for status-based builds like this. Spam alt fire. Don't use primary fire.

[Galvanized Shot] has no effect on radial damage, so it's pretty useless here.

This can be converted into a primer by swapping the crit mods, [Hornet Strike], [Pistol Elementalist], and Secondary Enervate for status mods, [Sure Shot], [Primed Fulmination], and Secondary Encumber. Alt fire has guaranteed Corrosive procs, which Secondary Encumber can easily pile on top of. Using an Omni Forma in the [Primed Heated Charge] slot makes it easier to create both builds.
