Gear Explanations
- Archon Continuity picks up Toxin from the way I modded Lizzie. I added Cold, Heat, and Toxin mods in that order.
- Archon Vitality buffs the massive Heat damage gained from Ripper's Wail and the guaranteed procs from Pyrotechnics.
- [Archon Flow] is winmoar, but if I happen to use Lizzie's Cold alt fire and kill something with it, I can get some extra energy back.
- Lizzie gets Heat damage that doesn't combine with anything else from their 3.
- As a status-based DPS weapon, [Lizzie] does need help when facing enemies that are resistant or immune to status. However, I haven't had any problems with Acolytes yet! Violence and Malice aside, of course.
- With my setup, I don't really need to use Lizzie's alt fire.
- Corrosive Incarnon secondaries with high crit chance and crit damage, like Dual Toxocyst or Lex Prime, are ideal backups to Lizzie.
- Overdrive adds flat crit chance, which works well with weapons like [Dual Toxocyst] that have relatively low crit chance, at least in comparison to weapons like Lex Prime. It also allows Lizzie to leave CC mods off. A single cast should get her into crit territory for all her hits.
- [Furax Wraith] significantly speeds up secondary weapon damage. It also easily builds combo count, which makes it a solid pick among other Melee Influence Incarnon weapons.
Energy & Efficiency
[Temple] has an innate 50% efficiency boost on all abilities that are cast on the backbeat. With the additional 5% efficiency boost from my modding, Temple's abilities cost practically nothing:
- Nourish: 22.5
- Overdrive: 11.25
- Ripper's Wail: 22.5
- Exalted Solo: Free! Otherwise, 33.75
Of course, Nourish also helps with energy.
Critical Chance
Overdrive adds flat crit chance vulnerability to enemies caught in its range. At base, it adds a final 25% chance. This is doubled if Overdrive is cast on the backbeat. Thanks to this, there's actually no need to add crit chance mods to most weapons! I don't have a CC mod on [Lizzie] and I still get lots of red crits without one! [Lizzie] has an incredible base 35% CC. Unfortunately, Overdrive is a complete nonbo with Secondary Enervate. Do not use it!
Strategy
- Start with Ripper's Wail for extra Heat damage. This doesn't combine with any other damage types modded for.
- Cast Overdrive on a group of enemies to increase CC against them and add a little bit of time to Ripper's Wail.
- Overdrive is highly spammable, which means it's great for refilling Lizzie's ammo. At just 11.25 energy per cast on the backbeat, it barely eats into their reserves.
- Cast Ripper's Wail when they hit their shield gate. This will reset the timer, so any time over base is lost. Ripper's Wail makes them invulnerable for a few seconds, during which they automatically fully regenerate health and shields.
- Whip out Dual Toxocyst/(insert secondary here) when it's time to face off against an Acolyte, Demolyst, or Necramech. If Violence shows up and knocks you out of [Lizzie], [Burston Prime] is a great backup option. [Furax Wraith] is also great!
Listen to the metronome! It does go silent a few seconds after casting something, but that's fine. It'll be audible when you cast an ability on the backbeat again.
Miscellaneous
- Their 3 is vital for survival. Cast their 3 when they hit their shield gate.
- Their shields go down pretty quickly, so they'll constantly be resetting their 3.
- Subsume options include Nourish, Roar, [Xata]'s Whisper, Eclipse, Breach Surge or other crowd control abilities, and even Shock with Shock Trooper for increased damage, more procs for CO/GunCO, and Melee Influence.
- Do not use Phenmor or Laetum!
- Do not use Secondary Enervate!
- Do not use any Melee Doughty weapons!
- Do not use a Companion or primer that inflicts Heat before you get the chance to proc it yourself! Temple's damage is heavily dependent on extreme amounts of Heat, so you need to be careful about Heat Inherit.
- I love that DE is being inclusive by having Temple/Flare be another non-binary Warframe!
