MOD BREAKDOWN

• [Hornet Strike]: mandatory base dmg. Do NOT use [Galvanized Shot] since [Kompressa] is 90% AOE And Galv Shot does not apply to AOE.
• [Galvanized Diffusion]: mandatory for +230% multishot at max stacks
• Primed Target Cracker: mandatory critical damage but flexible for Magnetic Might if fighting Thrax/Eximus
• [Lethal Torrent]: optional fire rate + multishot. Flexible if running external fire rate e.g. arcane velocity, amalgam [Furax], [Reinforced Bond]
• [Pistol Elementalist]: Boosts status damage from heat and also gives reload speed boost.
• Element mods:

BLAST ELECTRIC: Blast on [Kompressa] has a special interaction with Enervate allowing sometimes the crit chance to stack to tier 4 or tier 5 red crits. Blast and Electric both have an AOE component which further improves the AOE clearing of [Kompressa]. This is the best option for AOE trash clear. This works best along side [Xata]'s Whisper subsume because currently, Blast status procs xatas whisper in a 5m aoe which increases the potency of a blast proc. This instance of Xatas whisper also triple dips faction mods so ideally equip the corresponding faction mod.

CORROSIVE HEAT : [Primed Heated Charge] contributes a large amount of raw elemental damage and procs heat status which deals damage over time and strips some armor up to 50% at 2s. Corrosive status strips armor and corrosive damage has a bonus against grineer. [Kompressa] is innate viral so we don't mod for viral here. This is the best option for single target DPS.

You can leave this empty if you prefer or steal the polarity and move it to a main slot to save forma.

• Lethal Momentum increases projectile speed
• Ammo mutation or [Trick Mag] helps with the feel of maintaining ammo if you have ammo issues

FLEXIBLE OPTIONS
You can drop Lethal Torrent if external fire rate:

• Primed Expel - maximises dps against a specific faction and double dips status dmg
• Magnetic Might - maximises DPS against enemies with overguard Thrax/Eximus

ARCANE CHOICE

• Secondary Enervate: boosts the low base crit chance by adding flat cc. [Kompressa] is special with Enervate because the bubbles have a delay and allow it to stack beyond what is normally allowed and hit red crits. Best paired with flat crit multi boosts like Tenacious Bond and Arcane Crepscular due to the low crit stats.
• Secondary Fortifier: great quality of life as it steals overguard, and is also the strongest option against Thrax.
