Daikyu Prime | Target Acquired Headshot Hunter | Blast Nuke and Elec DPS Variants

This is a full headshot focused blast or electric DPS build.

MOD BREAKDOWN

  • [Serration]: mandatory base damage which is multiplicative with Longbow Sharpshot. Galv Aptitude is buggy with Longbow Sharpshot and not fully multiplicative with it.
  • [Primary Acuity]: +350% cc on headshot and +5.25x headshot multiplier (currently bugged to give more than advertised but additive to 3x headshot multi), meaning the final headshot multiplier is 8.25x
  • [Amalgam Daikyu Target Acquired]: multiplicative +75% boost to headshot multiplier making the final headshot multiplier 8.25 x 1.75 = 14.4375x. Note electric and gas procs that are created by a headshot which THEN hit the head again can benefit a second time from the 1.75x bonus (similar to Deadhead) i.e. final headshot multi on electric status that hits head is 25x !!
  • Vital Sense: mandatory crit dmg
  • Hammer Shot: more crit dmg and status chance to improve proc consistency
  • Rifle elementalist: multiplies status dmg by 1.9x and adds a bit of punchthrough

ELEMENT

ELECTRIC

  • Electric DoT procs instantly and has a small 3m AOE, and also double dips [Target Acquired] bonus. Works best along side Roar or [Shock Trooper] or at least two Violet +elec damage primary shards, giving it enough to oneshot most enemies up to levelcap.

To make Electric you can run:

  • Both High Voltage and Stormbringer (if you offload vile acceleration to external fire rate and have no violet shards on)
  • [High Voltage] + vile acceleration (if running violet electric shards or shock trooper since they are additive to electric mods)

BLAST

  • Blast DoT has wider AOE clearance but slightly worse single target DPS. Works best alongside Roar to. Swap [Vile Acceleration] and High Voltage for Primed Cryo Rounds + Thermite Rounds to make blast, ideally offloading fire rate to external fire rate- Elemental mods: see below for element options, but usually you will run between 1 to 2 element mods depending on the combo and any shards.

To make Blast:

  • Primed Cryo Rounds + Thermite Rounds (need to drop vile accel) - primed cryo gives higher blast weighting and more raw damage vs rime rounds which gives a bit more status chance. Ultimately it is best to have higher raw dmg

ARCANE

  • Longbow Sharpshot: multiplies final damage by up to 4x after headshots
  • Primary Deadhead: optional alternative, deadhead provides a 30% headshot bonus that is additive to Target Acquired and also double dips elec status on headshots

FLEXIBLE OPTIONS

  • Vile acceleration: increases charge rate significantly - can offload if you run external fire rate eg reinforced bond, arcane acceleration, buffs
  • Primed Bane gives the highest DPS against a specific faction if applicable and double dips status DPS
  • [Point Strike] and [Galvanized Scope] can give even more crit chance but is additive to acuity
