Oraxia: Max Efficiency With Gloom

Archon Shards:

  • One amber shard for casting speed is required.
  • One or two amber shards for effectiveness on energy orbs is recommended.
  • One or two emerald shards for max corrosive stacks is recommended.

The build focuses on permanently maintaining Silken Stride and Gloom. Your playstyle is as follows. First, you go through a small setup phase:

  • You shoot a small group of enemies with your Strength Buff Grimoire to gain 60% additional ability strength.
  • You switch to Operator (Madurai) and void sling a few times to gain another 40% ability strength.
  • You wall latch once to gain a final 30% strength buff from Arcane Crepuscular.
  • You cast both Silken Stride and Gloom at 340% strength reaching maximum slow on Gloom and more than 6k life with Silken Stride.

After you have set up these two abilities, enemies begin to accumulate in your Gloom web (pun intended). You now focus on casting Widow's Brood to infect enemies and occasionally finishing off bigger threats using Mercy's Kiss. Why is this good:

  • With max Efficiency, we get minimal drain on Gloom and Silken Stride. We can easily maintain these two abilities non-stop, giving us permanent enemy slow, life [Regen], status immunity, weapon damage increase, and of course spider moves. To spell it out: I don't think Blind Rage is worth giving up on this.
  • Archon Continuity allows us to armor-strip based on corrosive procs using our innate toxin-based abilities.
  • [Health Conversion] and Arcane [Guardian] give us 2250 armor, which translates to about 88% DR. Keeping up [Health Conversion] is trivial using Mercy's Kiss.

If you have to deal with a large group of enemies or a particularly difficult threat, you wall-latch, become invisible, and gain a 3x crit damage multiplier from Arcane Crepuscular and the wall latch damage bonus from Silken Stride. You can additionally build your primary around spectral serration to specifically make it your wall latch gun.

Build Options:

  • For the Sobek / Acid Shells build, swap out Arcane Crepuscular for Arcane Arachne and, well, play the Sobek.
  • In that vein, Arcane Crepuscular is a flex slot. You can slot anything else here that you like better.
  • Swap out Cunning Drift for any Exilus Slot, it's completely flexible.
  • If you want slightly better duration on your scuttlers, swap [Transient Fortitude] for [Energy Conversion]. This will make your setup more complicated, though.
