Vadarya Prime: Raijin-no-Ikari (Wrath of the Thunder God)

Caliban Prime's signature sniper rifle is no mere ceremonial weapon. A sign, perhaps, that peace between Orokin and Sentient was destined to be fleeting. Struck enemies become lightning rods, with a chance to attract bolts of chain lightning that can jump to nearby enemies.

Vadarya Prime: Raijin-no-Ikari (Wrath of the Thunder God)

Weapon Description: (Disclaimer, this is all in good fun and weapon naming. It is not the actual weapons description)

“It is said that in Myth, that Raijin (the God of Thunder and Lightning) summoned a typhoon to sink the ships of the Mongols as they attempted to invade Japan. This weapon is built upon that premise. Incur the wrath of the Thunder God as Raijin once did against your foes.”

Mods:

(Primed) [Shred]: Used to increase the Fire Rate and the Punch Through of the weapon. This will cause you to fire more often and hit more targets, causing you to be able to cause more Lightning Strikes.
[Galvanized Chamber]: Used to increase the amount of shots fired from the weapons. This increases how often Lightning Strike can happen.
[Critical Delay]: Increases the Critical Chance of the weapon. Increases both the overall damage weapon and the Lightning Strikes.
[Galvanized Scope]: Increases Critical Chance of the Weapon on Weakpoint Hits (and kills). Brings the weapons Critical Chance to the point of hitting Super Crits (Red Crits) when at max stacks on [Galvanized Scope].
[Vital Sense]: Increases the Critical Multiplier of the weapon. Critical Hits will deal more damage.
[Thermite Rounds]: Gives the weapon Heat Damage as well as increasing Status Chance. Used with Cold to create Blast.
(Primed) [Cryo Rounds]: Gives the weapon Cold Damage. Used with Heat to create Blast.
[Harkonar Scope] (optional): Increases the amount of time before losing a combo for the Shot Count to 14 Seconds (base being 2 seconds). Can be replaced with something else.

Arcane

Primary Deadhead: Gives the weapon 360% (or 4.6x) Damage upon scoring a weak point kill. This also increases the amount of damage you do to Weak Points by 50%.

Why Blast?

Even with the changes to Blast + [Vadarya Prime] interaction, it still is a good pick for dealing with a heavy density of enemies. If you are able to kill the target that has a Blast Status on them, you'll hit everything around that enemy within 5 meters for 300% of the weapons Base damage (scaling with mods and Arcane's).

Why use [Harkonar Scope]?

In my build I am using [Harkonar Scope] so that way I can use the damage multiplier from the Shot Combo. [Harkonar Scope] allows me to not have to worry about losing stacks for the Shot Combo as they will take 14 seconds to lose one shot from the Shot Combo. If you do not wish to use the Scope on [Vadarya Prime], you may replace it with a better mod such as [Hammer Shot].

Multishot vs [Primary Acuity]

Neither of which is better than the other, and both give different and unique effects. [Primary Acuity] will allow you to hit Super Crits (Red Crits) more often as well as making you do significantly more damage, at the cost of you needing to be much more accurate. While with Multishot you can afford to not always hit Weak Points, and the Lightning Strikes will happen more often at the cost of lower total damage. No matter how you build the weapon, it'll still function very well either way.

Why use the [Vadarya Prime]?

Yes. It's no [Torid] Incarnon, but it is still a very very good weapon for whatever purpose you want it to fill. It can excel at single target and crowd clearing upon building it right. It does require some amount of practice with learning how to use the weapon, but once you do it is a very well made weapon.
