ACUITY VS CHAMBER
Acuity is INTERCHANGEABLE with Galvanized Chamber.
- Acuity hits hardest on headshots by applying +350% headshot damage (additive to base 3x headshot multiplier but actually applies 525% bonus rather than the listed 350%, meaning a final multiplier of 2.75x on headshots) and +350% critical chance (additive to other crit chance mods). This also applies to lightning strikes when created from a headshot, however, you do get punished greatly for missing headshots.
- Multishot allows you to spawn more potential lightning strikes per shot and is more consistent in DPS particularly if you are NOT hitting consistent headshots
This is largely up to personal preference and how much you want to oneshot single targets (use acuity) vs clearing crowds (use multishot).
MOD BREAKDOWN
- [Serration]: Mandatory base damage, amalgam version gives extra sprint speed and is OPTIONAL. Galvanized Aptitude does NOT apply to lightning strikes.
- Vital Sense: Mandatory crit damage
- Primary Acuity/Galvanized Chamber: see above, interchangeable with each other depending on preference
- Critical Delay: Crit delay is mandatory if using Galv Chamber, not mandatory if using acuity
- [Galvanized Crosshairs]: even more additive critical damage, synergizes with headshots and can be stacked by lightning strikes that headshot, but is limited by stack issues as all stacks drop off when one expires. Flexible slot.
- [Stormbringer] + [High Voltage]: gives raw elemental damage multiplier (i.e. 1.9x multiplier) and also boosts electric status damage (also 1.9x mutliplier). [High Voltage] helps electric damage and status chance further if you have a free slot. High Voltage is flexible if using lots of +Violet Electric Damage shards (e.g. 3 or more) for Hammer Shot
[Primed Shred]: boosts fire rate and adds punchthrough which helps build sniper combo and spawn lightning strikes. Flexible for Vile Acceleration if using more single target or can even swap off if using reinforced bond and external fire rate sources.
Vigilante Supplies: gives a tiny chance of boost crit to next tier, rank 0 saves forma. use max rank if you can fit
ARCANE
- Primary Crux: gives huge status chance boost to improve electric status proc consistency and ammo efficiency improves overall feel and quality of life.
- Primary Deadhead: gives big base damage boost (+360%) on headshot kills and headshot multiplier (1.3x) is additive to target acquired and also double dips electric status on headshots
FLEXIBLE OPTIONS
- Primed Bane: Highest DPS option: multiplicative to all other bonuses by 1.55x and double dips status damage for 2.4x , need to swap to appropriate faction and is additive to Roar
- [Target Acquired]: multiplicative 1.6x multiplier on headshots (additive to primary deadhead) and double dips electric statuses that occur on headshots (2.56x multiplier).
- [Hammer Shot]: gives critical damage and status damage
