[Dagath] is a fantastic frame capable of fulfilling many roles through her potent abilities. Her versatility opens up lots of buildcrafting routes, each of her abilities smoothing out her performance in every possible area. She has crowd control, debuffs, buffs, and even raw damage.
TL;DR [Catalyzing Shields] REDUCES [Dagath]'S SHIELD VALUE TO 50. RUN A PISTOL AUGUR MOD TO GET FULL REFRESH FROM WYRD SCYTHES, OTHERWISE HER OTHER ABILITIES ARE FAIR GAME FOR FULL [Regen]. IT'S A SHIELDGATE BUILD YOU KNOW HOW IT WORKS
This build is a caster shieldgate tank able to survive in the thick of it as long as the pilot is smart about positioning and [Rolling Guard] timing. This will be familiar to people who usually play high apm brawlers. [Augur Secrets] is flex, Arcane Arachne can be replaced with whatever you'd like.
Wyrd Scythes apply viral, slow, and spread doom to entire hallways. They spin for a bit before surging forward, allowing you to cast Doom before they start doing their thing. These abilities on their own will tear through low level enemies and make surviving enemies easy to kill.
Doom essentially works as another DOT and is the synergistic core to [Dagath]'s kit. The scythes do respectable damage, but you really wanna use doom for it's synergy with Dagath's other abilities. This is also the main ability to cast if you want a full shield-gate.
Grave Spirit is obviously a great skill for a weapons platform approach, with respectable critical buffs. The Nidus-like effect of cheating death is also useful, because who doesn't make mistakes? This ability is definitely a fun one to scale strength with, but its effect isn't really the craziest thing out there. Your standard damage buff subsumes would probably fare better if you dislike the prerequisite of a debuffed enemy to get the most out of Grave Spirit.
Rakhali's Calvary does absolutely incredible damage, and even armor strips! It also provides a rather generous window of invulnerability, so it's a nice option when [Rolling Guard] is on cooldown, since it even staggers enemies. A great skill, obviously, but Wyrd Scythes apply viral easier, and there are different helminth abilities that can provide survivabilty or crowd control.
Speaking of helminth, here are some theorycrafts that I haven't tested but will absolutely try out.
Roar/Xata/Eclipse over 3/4: Going double into damage would definitely be an interesting route, some would rather hold onto armor strip while others can do without. Be creative.
Breach Surge over 3/4: Breach Surge can allow for ability nuking or general crowd control. It's a stupid ability, what else is there to say?
Nourish/Gloom/Pillage: Daring today, are we? The topic of these abilities on this frame specifically is actually kinda funny, cause [Dagath] already has pieces of their functionality within her kit. For once it might actually be worth using a helminth that isn't these abilites! Wow! There can actually be more of a case for Gloom however, in cases where you'd like to do a healthtank build (which is totally possible as she has the 4th highest health out of the roster!).
Dispensary over 3/4: Always a great option, even moreso with Dagath's passive able to triple the yield of health orbs and energy orbs.
Fire Blast or Thermal Sunder over 3/4: Combining heat damage with [Dagath]'s viral capabilities is a recipe for ability nuking. As a bonus, Fire Blast has some decent augments and pretty good armor strip.
Aquablades over 3: Wyrd Scythes and Aquablades sounds really funny.
Wrathful Advance over 4: For a melee crit build. Pretty self-explanatory.
Shuriken/Terrrify/Tharros Strike over 4: Easy armor removals. Building [Dagath] isn't restrictive so running [Seeking Shuriken] is absolutely a possibility.
Of course, these are all ideas I've thrown at a wall. [Dagath] is the first frame in a while to provide such a level of versatility and creative potential, so experiment, I know I will!
