SURVIVABILITY (PASSIVE SHIELD [Regen])

Since [Chroma] needs [Combat Discipline] to consistently build Vex Armor [Fury] buff, we cannot run [Brief Respite]. One alternative is to use [Catalyzing Shields] with multiple Augur Mods to gate using abilities (e.g. casting Breach Surge at 45% efficiency costs 78 energy, and with three augur mods this generates 94 shields which gives the full 1.33s gate). A more novel approach is to use passive shield [Regen] by reducing shield recharge delay to a minimum (capped at 80% reduction) and maximising shield recharge rate. This can be done by using the mods [Fast Deflection] and [Vigilante Vigor], which reduce shield recharge delay to 75% and increase shield recharge rate by 150%.

Set Emissive Color to BLUE for Electric Elemental Ward. This will boost your Base shields from 370 to around 659 which further increases shield recharge rate as well as increasing the maximum shield gate from approximately 1.37s to 1.84s.

Shield recharge rate = (15 + 0.05 x Max Shields) x (1 + Recharge bonus)
Recharge with Electric Ward + [Fast Deflection] + [Vigilante Vigor] = (15 + 0.05 x 659) x (1+1.5) = 119 shield per second.
This means you can recharge back to 659 shield in 5s without actively casting and within 1s you generate about 0.82s shield gate.
At 75% recharge delay reduction, the long 4s delay from full shield depletion is reduced to 1s and and the short 1s delay from partial shield damage is reduced to 0.25s.

In practical terms this does NOT mean you are immortal while standing completely still, but rather as long as you stay active using a combination of parkour and breach surge, you can stay alive very easily without actively thinking about your shields like in a normal shield gate playstyle (where you need to reactively cast abilities within the short shield gate i-frames and rely on good crowd control).

HELMINTH SYNERGY

Vex Armor's [Fury] is a weapon damage buff that is additive to +dmg mods on weapons (like serration, primary merciless etc) but also boosts Breach Surge since it is coded as a weapon, thereby "pseudo-double dipping" breach surge since it boosts it twice. Note however, since Breach Surge is now capped at 5 million pre external multipliers, Vex Armor will only apply to a 5 million damage instance rather than boosting it to easy damage cap like previous.

ARSENAL

Vex Armor's [Fury] buff also for some reason applies twice to Glaives and Contagions (i.e. Double Dipping). This means a 600% damage buff is actually a 4800% damage buff (49x) to Glaives and Contagion.
