Nautilus Prime Passive Grouping CC | General Use

Passive Grouping Crowd Control Companion

Finally... N-Atlus Prime. Is that a Persona reference?

Precept Mods positions matter?

Yes, they do. Companions have a priority list when it comes to activating abilities. Below is a picture to show the priority list. Basically you start highest priority in the upper left and then move your way down the priority list by going right. This means precept mods are put in the upper left column mod slots for every companion, in the order you want the companion to prioritize said precept mods. Thanks to the Simulcrum Warriors for having this picture on their companion builds.

When you put formas on [Nautilus Prime], make sure to move the Precept Polarity from [Assault Mode] to Guardian to get more capacity. The empty slots, as well as Sacrifice of course, can be slotted in with the following mods:

  • Calculated Redirection + Reinforced Bond for faster fire rate on your weapons - NOTE: A Sentinel and MOA with at least 600 shields can [Reach] exactly 1200 Overshields by reloading 4 times (max stacks); as such, it may be worth looking into lesser ranks [Calculated Redirection] mods if you have issues with capacity and polarity compatibility between multiple configurations and or want to save forma. If you have access to invisibility that doesn't break upon attacking or have overguard, ensuring your Sentinel/MOA never takes damage, it's an outright superior option if you have said issues and or want to save forma

[Nautilus Prime] in particular can make do with a rank 3 [Calculated Redirection] for 668 shields, hitting just above 1200 shields with 4 reloads. A lower ranked [Calculated Redirection] will give sub 600 shields and therefore not be able to [Reach] or get above 1200 shields. Though with the build options below, you should be able to use to a max rank Calculated Redirection on very build.

  • Synth Deconstruct if your Sentinel/MOA uses the Helstrum with a primer build and Equilibrium or a Violet Health-Energy Conversion Shard, though Verglas (Prime) works fine too

  • [Duplex Bond] works for both the [Verglas] (Prime) (more kills) and Helstrum (more priming), though if you want more energy but don't want to use Equilibrium or Violet Shards, it's the damage-Verglas alternative to Synth Deconstruct+Equilibrium/Violet Shard+Helstrum-Priming if you want energy, also lets your companion frag more

  • Mystic Bond if you want to save energy and or use an ability spamming build on your Warframe but aren't relying on shield-gating for survivability

  • Contagious Bond if your Sentinel/MOA uses the Verglas (Prime), lets it kill even better

  • Seismic Bond if you use an ability spamming build and a Channeled ability but aren't relying on shield-gating for survivability

  • [Tenacious Bond] with Vulkok being equipped with [Point Strike] (87.5% total crit chance) or [Critical Delay] (105% total crit chance). [Verglas Prime] with Critical Delay or Point Strike and a Rivien Mod with crit chance can make this work too; it may be worth looking into

  • Sacrifice if you're lazy and don't want to self-revive using the Operator and or you have trouble self-reviving using the Operator (Note: once you've maxxed out Operator abilities and use a 146 or other Brace, you will the vast majority of the time self-revive before the Sentinel has time for it. At high enough enemy levels, your Sentinel will outright just die before it can actually revive you. If the revival was instantaneous, it might be a mandatory mod.)

  • [Primed Animal Instinct] for more enemies and loot shown on radar, it's nice but not mandatory

I want to say that all the other mods are objectively worse for the General Use build and not worth slotting on, but I can't stop you.

For Warframes that have no need for Guardian (30 sec cooldown), Shield Charger (30 sec cooldown), and or [Medi-Ray] (60 sec cooldown btw) but whose build can make use of Mystic Bond, and if your given Sentinel has no useful unique precept mods with cooldowns, Spare Parts will be your go-to ability with a cooldown mod.

Some builds using Bond Mods for inspiration or copy-pasting

Here are some builds using the Bond Mods. They are categorized by several criteria, ranging from whether certain mods are used to specific survivability methods. These 11 configurations are (kinda) compatible with the rest of the Sentinels and MOAs to an extent. Though some Sentinels and MOAs will have 2 or more useful precept mods instead of one, so choose your mods carefully. P. [Animal Instinct] will also be the mod you let go of if 2 or more useful precept mods are used on other Sentinels and MOAs.

If you want to use the Calculated Redirection+Reinforced Bond combo on the non-invisibility/overguard builds, you'll either replace them over [Duplex Bond], [Contagious Bond], P. [Animal Instinct], and or [Momentous Bond]. If you don't plan on using P. [Animal Instinct] ever anyway, you can most likely just make do with 1 Naramon Polarity for [Reinforced Bond], saving formas.

If you want to use [Mystic Bond], I recommend placing it over [Contagious Bond], [Duplex Bond], or P. [Animal Instinct].

This list of configurations is not exhausted; there are more variants of the builds using and not using the [Calculated Redirection]+[Reinforced Bond] combo and other Bonb Mods. In any case, you know which mods to swap out with.

The polarity layout.

Config A. To be used without [Equilibrium]. Best used with [Verglas] (Prime) for damage.

Config B. To be used without [Equilibrium]. With [Calculated Redirection]+[Reinforced Bond] combo. Can be used with [Verglas] (Prime) for damage and [Helstrum] for priming.

Config C. To be used with [Equilibrium]. Replace either P. [Animal Instinct] or [Momentous Bond] with [Synth Deconstruct]. With CR+RB combo. Can be used with [Verglas] (Prime) for damage and [Helstrum] for priming.

Config D. To be used with [Equilibrium]. Can be used with [Verglas] (Prime) for damage and [Helstrum] for priming.

Config E. To be used with [Equilibrium] and a Channeled Ability. Can be used with [Verglas] (Prime) for damage and [Helstrum] for priming.

Config F. To be used without [Equilibrium] and with a Warframe that can grant the Sentinel Overguard or Invisibility that won't break upon attacking. With CR+RB combo. You can replace [Fired Up] with something else if you like, but it gives more damage. Best used with [Verglas] (Prime).

Config G. To be used with [Equilibrium], a Channeled Ability, and with a Warframe that can grant the Sentinel Overguard or Invisibility you get the point. Best used with [Verglas] (Prime) for damage.

Config H. To be used with [Equilibrium] and with a Warframe that can grant the Sentinel Overguard or Invisibility you get the point. With CR+RB combo. Can be used with [Verglas] (Prime) for damage and [Helstrum] for priming.
NOTE: [Mystic Bond] can be replaced with another Bond mod of your choosing, use a lower ranked [Calculated Redirection] if you run into capacity issues.

Config I. To be used with [Equilibrium] and with a Warframe that can grant the Sentinel Overguard and you get the point. With CR+RB combo. Can be used with [Verglas] (Prime) for damage and [Helstrum] for priming.

For Warframes that rely on tanking for survivability instead of shields

For these, you may find it beneficial to let go of Guardian in favor of one of the mods above. The following mods also become viable:

Yeah I thought there were more, but I was wrong.

For Warframes that use AND grant to the Sentinel Invisibility that doesn't break upon attacking OR overguard for survivability

Since you and your Sentinel now (most likely) will never die, there're some respawn and survivability mods that we can let go of. Replace the following mods with the suggested mods in the empty slots section, depending on what you need/want:

  • Primed Regen
  • Guardian
  • Momentous Bond
  • [Sacrifice] if you had it slotted on
