This is The Billionaire [Epitaph], its sole purpose is to live above the damage cap, this build is not practical for the average player, I'ts designed for the 1%. We will go into precision Acuity / Deadhead Electric / Priming, and explore options like Xata's Whisper / Roar, and frame synergies like [Yareli] to see how far we can push our damage in a realistic setting.

__

Why do we use?

Acuity -- An enemy type modifier that tunes enemy weakpoint coefficients additively. This bonus is multiplicative to Deadhead, as Deadhead is a multiplier that applies to the weapon itself.

Primed Convulsion + Jolt -- For status chance and max electric weight. With Acuity we lose multishot, and to get the maximum damage hit possible, we need electric to proc. For more consistent procs, we use both electric mods, and both are extremely important for damage.

G Crosshairs + PPG + PTC -- Galvanized crit for an Acuity setup. We sacrifice 3x slots to massively boost our crit chance up to 500%

Deadhead -- Multiplicative base damage, less recoil, and better headshots. How much better? You will soon find out vv.

Below i will show how Acuity + Electric + crit mods work together for our build;

vv Modded Headshot Coefficient vv

  • Enemies begin with a 2.0 to the head, Acuity then adds +3.5 to this number for 5.5 to the head, after this, a global 1.5x multiplier comes in (aoe hs changes update) and we end up with 8.25 to the head.

  • Next it is Deadhead's turn, it will multiply 8.5 by 30% for 11.5 to the head. If our shot hits for electric, then because electric and telsa chain are 2 instances of damage, it will apply the value from Deadhead a second time, or squared, or once to each instance, giving us a final 13.9425 to the noggin.

    • NOTICE that Acuity does not get squared, because remember from above, that Acuity is an enemy type modifier, while Deadhead is a weapon type modifier

vv Headshot Critical Hits vv

  • There are a lot of numbers here, but for the first equation we are just multiplying crit mods, for the final +25 i have included puncture, the final push we need to break the big 500

  • For the second, we have to calculate the unique head crit formula, which basically doubles our crit damage before crit tier.

    • *The keen eye may have noticed the weird '-(1-1)' at the end of the second problem, this is the work of cold procs, which are forced on main fire. This gives me a convinient place to explain what cold damage really does, which a lot of people get wrong;
How cold actually works;

  • Cold directly subtracts from the final constant in the critical tier formula, by -0.1 for the first stack, and -0.05 for every stack after until the final 10th stack (-0.5 total), which doubles the effect of the first 9x stacks (for -1.0 final)
    • Subtracting from this number inversely improves our crit damage by a flat 0.1~1.0x, but more importantly, because the crit tier formula is a series calculation, this flat '0.1~1.0x' will apply again for each crit tier, and since our [Epitaph] can hit tier 5 crits, cold will therefore grant us 0.5~5.0x flat crit damage proportionally

Why do we use cont.

G Shot -- CO is multiplicative to base damage bonuses (Deadhead) on direct. Secondaries have the best version of galvanized CO, so this is a huge damage increase. Not to downplay 80% status chance, which is also massively important for everything we do with this build

Expel -- An overkill multiplicative base damage bonus that applies a second time to status effects. This mod is a must slot where available, but can be swapped for Hornet Strike / Magnetic Might / Elementalist / etc.

Below will show max damage hit results for this setup, assuming max conditions + Viral / Magnetic priming.

  • We are able to hit theory shots over 1 billion with just a primer, so our goal reached? We could end it there, or we could take it further, so, just an example to play around with, lets use [Xata]'s Whisper on [Yareli] and see where it goes...

__

__

|
NOTE that [Xata] also squares headshot bonuses, when both [Xata] and electric are considered, the formula for Headshot Coefficient now looks like this; vv

  • Just adding a 100% [Xata]'s whisper to the equation triples our max hit potential. Xatas also creates a bullet attractor wherever it land ensuring we cant miss. Wanna reach the major leagues? it doesnt get any easier.

  • But there is no [Xata]'s whisper without a Warframe, and that means an even bigger numbers playground; enter [Yareli]. It takes around 385% power strength to [Reach] 100% [Xata] damage, so lets assume 400% power strength. Now we include [Yareli]'s passive 200 cc and 800% holy fuck damage vulnerability, and just like that, we've left the single digit billions behind... 36 billion is our max theory hit, and weve only so far used [Yareli], [Xata], and a primer, you should get the idea by now, whether its [Xata]'s Whisper, Roar, Eclipse, the Billionaire [Epitaph] will take you to the top.
