A claws build set up for Melee Duplicate and powerful status effects. You know, in case you wanted something other than Melee Influence. A lot of people don't notice that Melee Duplicate doubles yellow crit hits (taking their damage to slightly above orange, fluctuating according to crit damage) but that hitting a second time also doubles your status chance as well. Effectively, it gives melee strikes multishot. So we've slotted Elementalist to increase status damage. Gas and blast are nice because they spread damage to enemies who will probably be clustered in front of you. Elementalist also boosts your slash procs.

Playstyle: pop into shadow. Draw enemies towards you with 1, prime them with 3, slash them, tennokai.
