As [Trumna] is hitscan, multishot is ignored by main fire radial

Punch Through stat is locked, mods will ONLY affect main fire direct hits


Why DO we use?

Note: Due to a combination of a slow fire rate, a hit scan aoe, and average status chance, the [Trumna] is better suited for Raw Damage rather than status over time.
That said, this build is focused for Raw Viral.

Crit Delay - This mod is 7.5% better than Point Strike with example setup

PCR - Primed mod for raw damage

Malignant Force - Balances a touch of status chance

Aptitude - Optimal when priming, beware of Trumna's limited IPS. Aptitude is additive on main fire

  • Main fire radial will receive co bonus on initial target hit only with a factor of 1.64x, effectively based on initial hit damage

  • Alt will receive multiplicative co bonus on initial hit (will ignore aoe)

  • This mod is flexible, and can be swapped for;

  • Heat elemental mods can take advantage of Heat being an Innate damage type.
  • Primed Shred for 145% modded fire rate
  • Hammer Shot for better status and crit
  • G-Scope can be used for raw crit headshotting

P-Bane - Default multiplicative faction bonus that applies a second time to status dots.

  • This is also an optional mod, and while this is objectively still the best in slot, remember that faction mods aren't as useful on weapons that don't use status as their main form of damage. Because this is a raw damage setup, Bane doesn't have as much to double dip and so can be swapped for another example above ^^

Deadhead - Less intrusive stats lets us use Deadhead. Gives higher headshot dps and requires less maintenance than Merciless, however, you do lose the reload speed bonus

  • The Truma Prime has received a reload speed decrease from 5s to 4s. This is only half a second slower than base Trumna w/ Merciless at 3.5s. Use whichever arcane is more comfortable.

Why DONT we use?

Firestorm - Trumna main fire aoe ignores multishot, so firestorm will only see effective use on alt fire

G-Scope - With impact + heat staggering enemies, a slow fire rate, and bad cc, scope i find is too much effort for little reward, but dont let me stop you ig...
