Primary Fire kills charge a huge grenade that can be launched with alt fire once the bar is fully charged

ELEMENTAL VARIATIONS

Trumna is innate heat.
Viral Mag Heat - best general use element and uses Primed Cryo Round to maximise raw damage, viral has bonus against orokin, heat strips armor of orokin and grineer and viral status boosts damage to health on all factions. Magnetic is also good for Thrax/Eximus as magnetic status has bonus damage to overguard and causes a huge electric proc to occur once overguard breaks
Corrosive Mag Heat - can be good with nourish
Gas or Blast - requires buffs and certain frame combinations e.g. zephyr

MOD BREAKDOWN

  • Serration/Amalgam Serration: non-conditional base damage that doesn't require kills to maintain. Galvanized Aptitude does work additively to serration/merciless on the primary fire direct hit and even affects the AOE component. Galv Aptitude is also 'multiplicative' on alt-fire but only on the DIRECT grenade impact component (100 damage) and completely ignores the radial AOE component (1150 damage). Since there are only really 2 statuses on the AOE component it is not really worth running Galvanized Aptitude for a primary fire focus unless you are using a primer, and absolutely not recommended for alt-fire use.
  • Galvanized Chamber: mandatory multishot
  • Primed Cryo Round: gives raw damage and trumna is predominantly raw damage weapon (over 95% of damage is non-DoT)
  • [Malignant Force]: gives toxin to form viral damage with [Primed Cryo Rounds], which has a bonus against corrupted enemies and procs viral status which boosts all damage by up to 4.25x at 10 stacks. The extra status chance also improves viral proc consistency so you can very quickly reach 10 viral status after just 1 second of shooting.
  • Crit Delay + Vital Sense: mandatory crit mods
  • Vile Acceleration: mandatory fire rate, flexible for primed shred if you want punchthrough for crowd clear
  • Magnetic Capacity: magnetic damage boost dmg against eximus and capacity also gives magazine size which helps sustained DPS

  • Primary Crux: boosts status chance and ammo efficiency on headshot
