Welcome to The Lord Of The Goop Build for [Lavos]
Its worth noting that this is a costly build using two Umbral Forma to complete but the results (from my experience at least) are more than worth it.
While most people who play [Lavos] do not subsume any ability due to the loss of an element, I have replaced the second skill with [Kullervo]'s "Wrathful Advance." The reason for this being; firstly with this build the rotation of skills does not rely on or use any element that is made from or is purely cold, instead the focus is on toxin and electric damage. When using [Lavos]' fourth skill imbue it with Toxin damage, with the addition of [Archon Continuity] this will cause your fourth skill to deal Toxin, Corrosive and Heat damage which massively increases the damage [Lavos]' fourth skill does and also primes enemies with three status effects. After using the Toxin imbued fourth skill, use Electric imbuement for your third skill, the primary function of this is to imbue your weapons with electric damage and status using the [Valence Formation] augment mod.
The reason for this can be explained by the playstyle of the build, focusing more on melee use with your skills and making Melee influence more powerful, combined with Wrathful Advance your melee weapons will be dealing insane amounts of status effects/damage with also red crits, this is an ideal build for those who are fond of hybrid damage dealing.
When it comes to Archon shards there are a lot of great options for [Lavos] so a pinch of salt may be required when reading my suggestions. For my build I use 5 Tau shards, 3 Blue for max health, this increases the amount of strength gained from arcane bellicose and of course makes you a bit more survivable with arcane grace, then I have 2 Red shards, 1 for ability duration as it buffs the duration of the abilities and of the status effects [Lavos] and his weapons deal, and finally I use the final Red shard for melee crit damage.
If you are running arcane bellicose I strongly recommend the health shards as you will get a lot more value out of your slots, however the Red shards are down to preference, some green shards can be also very effective.
I hope anyone who tries this build has as much fun with it as I have, there will always be debates about what is the most effective way to build, but if you enjoy something and it works that's the most important thing.
