Enhanced by Technocyte mutations, the Coda Pathocyst comes with increased Damage, Critical Chance, Critical Damage and Status Chance. While in-flight or on contact with the enemy, it will occasionally spawn enhanced, enemy-seeking miasmites.

PROGENITOR ELEMENT: ELECTRIC

This is one of two specific [Glaive] playstyles where instead of exploding the [Glaive] with heavy attack, you just repeatedly throw it and wait for it to bounce around then come back. By letting it bounce around it can slowly build combo eventually hitting 12x, where it can benefit from combo mods like [Weeping Wounds] and [Blood Rush], allowing it to hit reasonably high CC of 108% and very high status chance of 189%. With the mod [Volatile Rebound], each time the [Glaive] bounces into an enemy it will cause a mini explosion which due to melee influence will cause damaging electric status to spread exponentially. Each mini explosion deals about half the damage of a full heavy but with the same 4.9m aoe but does not scale off heavy combo, which puts each explosion at about 10x weaker than a x5 heavy explosion but since you can [Rebound] multiple times per throw this overall averages out in a dense crowd. This playstyle is not quite as immediately devastating as a heavy detonation spam build but offers a fun alternative that is equally as good at killing large groups of enemies.

MOD BREAKDOWN

  • [Primed Pressure Point]: Mandatory base damage, cannot use Killing Blow since that only applies to heavy attacks and we are not heavy attacking
  • Amalgam Organ Shatter: Mandatory crit damage and also gives wind up
  • Weeping Wound: gives +440% sc at 12x combo
  • Blood Rush: gives +440% cc at 12x combo
  • Shocking Touch: adds electric so you can proc influence
  • Melee Elementalist: multiplicative 1.9x buff to electric status damage, also gives wind up speed
  • Volatile Rebound: enables the rebound playstyle so every bounce explodes
  • Primed Smite: multiplicative to [Primed Pressure Point], DOUBLE DIPS status effects (1.55 x 1.55) and TRIPLE DIPS statuses spread via melee influence (1.55 x 1.55 x 1.55)
