The [Coda Pox]
Coda Pox is the Coda variant of the Infested Pox throwing sacs, featuring significant improvements to its critical chance and magazine size, along with increased damage, critical multiplier, and status chance.
Passive
Spores explode in a 2.8 meter radius upon impact with a surface or enemy, lingering for 4 seconds while dealing continuous Toxin damage.
Initial hit and spore cloud apply status separately.
Explosion does not need direct line of sight to deal damage and will penetrate walls.
Does not inflict self-stagger.
No Damage Falloff.
Can benefit from Fulmination.
Alternatives to Building
Secondary Enervate & Blast
Secondary Enervate brings weapons that would normally want to crit, but have low crit chance, to become absolute crit monsters. Combining this with blast can turn a weapon like the Coda Pox into something only Dystopia himself would post a video about (shoutout to @Heat_Inherit). Blast procs will add more enervate stacks to the weapon's crit chance, meaning the Coda Pox can red crit or even !!! crit with enough grouping (Zephyr, Mag, Nidus).

Secondary Encumber
The Coda Pox is more than a DoT weapon. It has a cloud that continues to damage enemies over time. Additionally, it benefits from Galvanized Shot on the cloud's attacks as well. This, paired with Secondary Encumber can easily prime enemies for several statuses for a weapon that can take advantage of Galvanized Aptitude. Slot Primed Heated Charge and we're also adding in Heat Inherit.
