PROGENITOR ELEMENT : HEAT
Heat progenitor combines with innate toxin to proc gas on slam. Melee Afflictions multiplies this by 7x creating zones of lingering Gas, which last longer due to [Lasting Sting]. Mire's passive also causes forced toxin that scales off primed fever strike despite combining into gas.
MOD BREAKDOWN
- Primed Pressure Point: mandatory base damage, do NOT use condition overload as this does not affect slam damage
- [Galvanized Steel]: gives both crit damage and chance. If you had the slots by not using smite or lasting sting, you would ideally run double sacrificial mod + organ shatter to hit 100% cc for consistency
- Galvanized Reflex: gives initial combo to 5x
- Seismic Wave: mandatory slam damage, multiplicative to pressure point
- Galvanized Elementalist: multiplies status damage and also gives a bit of status so you can proc gas more consistently
- Lasting Sting: increases length of gas procs to over 12s, good for camping missions where enemies can run into clouds. Flexible Slot
- Primed Fever Strike: boosts toxin procs by 2.65x
- Primed Smite: boosts procs by 2.4x. Flexible slot.
FLEXIBLE OPTIONS
If you don't want to use either or both of Lasting Sting/Primed Smite, you should swap out the [Primed Pressure Point] + Galv Steel for Sacrificial Pressure + Sacrificial Steel to hit 100% cc, and then slot Organ Shatter for crit damage.
Other useful options include:
- Toxic Blight : +100% tox and gives Blight passive (30s cooldown)
- Virulent Scourge: +60% tox but also status chance
- Proton Snap : 100% tox and flat 50% status but needs wall latch
- Blood rush: more cc
- Weeping wounds : more status
- [Killing Blow] : more heavy dmg
